2013 Penn-Ohio Show Proves Challenging for Exhibitors
With an encore of very wet weather, the 2013 Penn-Ohio Morgan Show provided a challenging venue for horses and exhibitors. The Waterford horses were game and put on their best show in spite of the mud and wet and came away with some outstanding results. It was a super way to prepare for New England Regional’s potential surprises!
- ADC Pega Sass and Kathleen were the Junior Horse Western Pleasure Champions after winning their Junior Mares qualifier. This elegant young daughter of Bellerophon was bred and is owned by the Cojocar family and is available for purchase.
- Cherrydale Ariella won her Three Year Old Mares In Hand and then marched right on up to Grand Champion Mare. By Minion Millennium and out of Cherrydale Gabriella, she is bred and owned by Dr. Robin Molaskey Herrick and is a full sister to World Champion Cherrydale Casseopia.
- Dragonsmeade Oberon and Lynn won the Roadster to Bike class for Paul Calandra, who looks forward to driving this fun new gelding.
- EKL Utopia and Cathy Miller won their Junior Horse Classic Pleasure Driving class and then took on all ages to win the Open Classic Pleasure Driving Championship.
- The hot new Park Saddle horse Harlan’s Azurean braved the mud to win the Limit class and went on to claim Reserve in the Park Saddle Championship. This sporty guy is available for purchase, visit our Sales Page for more information.
- Ledyards Donatella made her saddle debut with Kathleen in the irons and won the Junior Mares qualifier and bested the boys for the Junior English Pleasure Championship. This elegant daughter of WC Mizrahi is available for purchase, please visit our Sales Page.
- Grand Champion Stallion honors went to Ledyards Eduardo, who just kept on coming from the Three Year Old class right on up to the top.
- LPS Endless Love was the Junior Champion Mare and winner of the Two Year Old Fillies In Hand.
- Lynn had a great ride to win the Park Saddle Mares & Geldings class with LPS Out of Bounds, who is primed for a New England appearance.
- The Man In Motion son Moe Tall enjoyed his second show of the year at Penn-Ohio and came away with the Open Park Harness Championship after winning the Park Harness Junior Horse qualifier.
- A fresh new face on the scene, Nittanys Boogie Time seemed to enjoy his debut as he smartly won the Two Year Old Park Harness class with Lynn on the lines. This fancy harness entry is available for purchase, contact Lynn or Kathy for more information.
- RGR Moonshadow and Cynthia Brown Clark were right on the money to win the Amateur Hunter Pleasure Championship and the Hunter Pleasure Amateur Stallion/Gelding qualifier.
- SSL Reba’s So Emotional made a winning debut in the Limit English Pleasure class and went right on through to capture the Open English Pleasure Championship with Lynn on board.
- The fancy young son of Town Assets, Still In Town, proved he was just as pretty as his sire by winning Reserve Grand Champion Gelding honors after topping the Geldings Two & Under class.
- Robert Severino enjoyed winning the Amateur Pleasure Driving Stallions & Geldings behind Without Limits, a versatile gelding who is looking for a new owner. Read all about him on our Sales Page.
- Nancy Flower trains and shows the Peeples bred entry Portfolio, a two year old daughter of Town Assets. This very special filly made her debut here to a blue ribbon drive in the Two Year Old Pleasure Driving class.
